The concept for Firstroll originated when I received a film camera from my grandfather. Growing up in the digital era, I had exclusively used digital cameras and was unfamiliar with film photography. Using the film camera returned me to the fundamentals of photography and highlighted the basics I had overlooked. This experience inspired me to create Firstroll.
Film photography is constrained to a maximum of 36 exposures with a limited ISO, requiring discipline and careful selection of the most meaningful moments. Our service reflects this by ensuring that every picture is thoughtfully chosen, maximizing the value of each frame and preserving only the most memorable moments.
Firstroll offers a unique service inspired by vintage photography. We take film cartridges and transform them into distinctive keyrings with the concept of “recycle the value.”From the concept of film that is limited to pictures, FirstRoll invites you to select your best six images to feature in a film keying, where each photo contributes to telling your story. The keyrings crafted from vintage film cartridges can serve as a highly personalized and memorable gift, symbolizing a deep connection with the recipient. By selecting cartridges with sentimental value and incorporating custom touches like photos, thoughtful notes or heartfelt messages will transform a nostalgic item into a unique keepsake and make a meaningful and cherished present.
In addition, FirstRoll offers a unique vintage-inspired photobooth service. Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic sticker photo booths of the past, our photobooth provides a fun and memorable experience of any event. Whether it is a party, housewarming, shop opening, product launch, or formal gathering, our photobooth adds an entertaining element to you occasion while serving as a cherished souvenir.
Our photobooth service is designed to enhance your event with a team of four dedicated professionals:
- Camera and System Operator: Manages the photo capture and technical setup.
- Prop Specialist: Assists with selecting and arranging props.
- Print Attendant: provides instant prints of the photos.
- Event Entertainer: Ensures a fun and engaging experience for all guests.
We offer four hours of service with unlimited photo printing. You can choose from either 2×6 or 4×6 print sizes, with the four-hour period excluding setup time, ensuring a fair and full active service. While we embrace a vintage aesthetic, we also incorporate modern conveniences, including QR codes for real-time photo downloads and social media sharing.
Beside the entertainment, it also features customized artwork that reflects the theme of your event. For instance, at weddings, we can include the name of the bride and groom or a meaningful quote. We also offer the ability to support important social causes. For example, for formal events like “End Violence Against Women and Children and Trafficking in Persons”, we provide themed artwork and props with relevant captions. Participants may initially enjoy the fun and engaging props, but the photos serve a dual purpose by raising awareness and supporting important social causes.
