Viravong Sundara’s journey from amateur to acclaimed photographer began amidst a family of photographers. Despite having no formal training, his innate curiosity and dedication led him to master the art of photography through observation, experimentation, and countless hours of practice.
Viravong believes in the power of photography to tell stories without words, creating lasting impressions on viewers. His ability to capture the essence of a moment and evoke emotions through his work has been instrumental in his success.
Since launching JPEG Image Productions in 2013, Viravong has garnered recognition for his talent and established himself as a leading photographer in the industry. The company’s official launch in 2023 marked a significant milestone in his career.
Sharing his passion with his team, Viravong recruits individuals who align with the company’s values and contribute to its continued growth and success.
Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of business owners, Viravong has adapted his motto to “Capture Your Passion, Craft Your Profession.” This philosophy reflects his belief in the power of passion to drive success and his desire to help others achieve their goals.

Our Story
Our journey began in 2013, when we were a group of three university classmates driven by passion for photography. We initially focused on capturing images at a variety of university’s events including sports competitions, academic conferences, guest lectures and seminars, etc. Given the many file extensions available – such as RAW, JPG, PNG – we noticed that JPG was frequently used in our work, so we committed to the name JPEG.
In 2015, JPEG experienced a significant turning point, gaining recognition and establishing its reputation. This was the year our members joined the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP), which marked our transition from a group to a professional freelance career. At the time, JPEG had only five members. We implemented a policy of adding up to three new members each year, emphasizing the need for passion for photography, language proficiency, problem-solving skills, and adaptability, rather than merely owning a camera.
By 2023, JPEG officially established itself as a company. Our name, Jpeg Image Production, reflects our origins and evolution– from focusing on photography to offering comprehensive multimedia services. Today, JPEG Image Production provided a full range of service, including video production and content creation. As of 2024, we offer an expanded suite of packages tailored to our valued customers.
As a company, we have become more productive and systematic. We have streamlined our processes into pre-production, production, and post-production phases to ensure a superior customer experience and enhanced professionalism. In addition to our systematic approach, we have expanded our team to better support our clients. We have also developed four distinct brands under JPEG Image Production: JPEG, Will You Marry Me, First Roll, and SelfTalk.
